What faults are prone to occur in the half shaft of the car? How to check for exclusions?

Under the action of long-term torsional fatigue and impact force, automobile axle shafts are prone to obstacles such as bending, torsion and fracture, spline tooth wear or skew.
When the half shaft is bent, put the half shaft on the V-shaped iron or install it on the lathe, check the oil seal neck with a dial indicator, and the pointer swing error should not exceed. 5mm, otherwise it should be cold pressed and straightened.
The flange plane of the half shaft should be perpendicular to the center line of the half shaft. In the case of no Q-shaped bending deformation of the semi-axis, use a dry sub-meter to measure the pot on the edge of the flange, and the deflection of the pointer should not be greater than 0.2 mm, otherwise it should be polished and corrected.
The matching clearance between the spline teeth of the half shaft and the spline groove of the gear shall not be greater than 0.75 mm, and the skew of the spline teeth of the half shaft shall not be greater than 1.00 mm, otherwise, new parts should be replaced or repaired by surfacing.
The wear of the half shaft oil seal neck should not be greater than that. 0.3mm, or surfacing or chrome repair.
The half shaft is broken or cracked and should be replaced.
